Thank you so much for coming forward to acknowledge this! Its so wonderful to hear people say "Oh...that's what I've been feeling...now I know what going on!". The more Pinkies that come forward and step into agreement, the greater the wave that will ripple into the world...what a wonderful thing to be able to be a part of and to have!

Okay, still crying, everyone.
You've all touched on such a raw nerve, I guess. In the past 24 hours, 3 coaches and two doctors approached me and said the same thing. "You need to start establishing boundaries. You can't give so much of yourself to each individual. You need to protect your heart so you can serve the collective good. You'll only burn out if you don't take more time to nurture yourself and establish more rigid boundaries between yourself and your community." And more of the same.

Herein lies my struggle. Yes, they are right. Yes, I need to be a mother, a friend, a daughter, a doctor, a writer, an artist- and yet Owning Pink is such a newborn, I want to tend it, love it, nurture it. And you all are what Owning Pink is all about. This is so precious to me. So I struggle. Clearly, the work I"m doing is reaching people- which is why I'm still crying here.

When you start something like this, you build it with great faith. Like the Field of Dreams, you hope that "if you build it, they will come." You sink your money, your time- your life into it. And everyone (your loving mother included) thinks your a little nuts. But you never know. Maybe you will build it. And no one will show up. It's our childhood nightmare, isn't it. That someone will throw us a birthday party, and no one will come. To put yourself out there is vulnerable. Yet, I did it.

After giving birth to it, you feed it, water it, love it, and trust that the Universe did not send you this message of love for naught. You believe- and yet, you have dark nights of the soul, when you doubt and question and fear. But then someone like you, Caroline, comes along and shines this gigantic light on the path, and I realize that we are on this path together. I am no longer alone. My dream team has arrived on the field, and I don't need to control this garden we're growing. It's enough to throw some fertilizer on the flowers we are sprouting and sprinkle lots of love when I can. I still want to engage personally with each and every one of you. It's why I created this forum, in part- because I can't keep up with the 14,000 Twitter followers and 700 Facebook friends. But here, we can have our own secret Universe where we can keep connecting intimately- for as long as I can do that and still keep my life balanced. And if I can no longer keep up, I know the rest of you will step up to the plate, as Donna Angevine and so many of you already have.

So please understand as I try to navigate this SO exciting and confusing path. And thank you so much for walking it with me, dear ones. I now know it's okay for me to get out of Owning Pink's way, to release some of the reins, to take care of myself and my family- and to truly surrender to our Pink Group Agreement. We have set the intention- and it is happening- right here, right in this moment. What we have already is enough and yet it will still grow as others are drawn, like moths to the flame.

Please help me welcome others as they come. Send love to others, share your stories, make friends, post on the blog, comment on the stories of others, as they are making themselves vulnerable. And love YOURSELF. It's the first step to opening your heart to the others.

I'll wipe my eyes and quit rambling. Together, we will help each other grow, maintain balance, overcome obstacles, seek joy, attain dreams, and live the love.

So many hugs and kisses to you all. Thank you again Caroline- and all the rest of you- for helping ME.

I'm so lucky that Lissa and I crossed paths.. I have a safe place to go and talk for the first time in my life! I've shared this place with others that I have come across because it truley is a place where you can heal, grow and share. I've been so touched by the sisterhood of these members.

Your acknowledgment for me, and I'm certain for the whole Owning Pink community represents a big healing that has taken place for Lissa and the community. May each of you re-claim a bit of your own inner Pink Goddess (as Lissa calls it) today!

Lissa, you are an inspiration to many more people than you know. If this post helps anyone who is a part of the Group Agreement better perceive, understand and honor it, we can only hope that it makes the Owning Pink light even brighter, more visible and uplifting to those who are too scared, shy or just waking up. To those who have already made it here, if you can't already feel it, do know that you are a part of something very special.

Lissa, you have gone through so much to bring this baby into being. I hope that you can see now that it was all worth it and that soon, you'll be ready to take your next step as the big PINK and wonderful spirit that you are!

Wow Caroline. I'm finding it hard to come up with the words to describe the chord of truth this struck within me. This universal reassurance that not only are we on the right path, but that we are doing something so powerful and transformational for the planet is ... yeah, beyond words. We are beyond blessed to have you among us, interpreting what's going on from levels of reality not all of us can see (yet!), and spreading love and acceptance in its purest form. For my part, I'm going to continue to believe wholeheartedly in the ability of Owning Pink to encourage everyone to be themselves, to be real and courageous enough to answer the call that is so often squelched by our brains and our culture. Thank you from the biggest part of me there is. I am so eager to hear more. Much love and gratitude to you.

Dearest Caroline,
I am reading this, weeping, tears streaming down my face, because you have just completely validated what I've spent a year (well, really- 40 years) trying to create. How could you know? But then, you're intuitive. Of course you know. Joy, Owning Pink's editor who is working with me today, just read this post and said, "Lissa, no wonder you keep saying you just have to get out of Owning Pink's way." I've been feeling intuitively, from the beginning, that I need to create the sacred container that is Owning Pink, and then I need to eliminate all ego and offer up the container to others as my gift to the Universe (channeled through me from God, of course. I am not special. I'm a just a flawed human full of mistakes and error, but God is perfect, and every now and then, I can clear my own junk out of the way enough to let the divine light shine through).

I love your term about the Pink Group Agreement, because yes, without ever doing anything official, we have one, don't we? We agree to love each other, accept each other, support each other- exactly the way we are right this very minute. That doesn't mean we won't try to facilitate growth, inspire and motivate each other, and seek support from each other as we negotiate pain, joy, success, and disappointments. It means that we start with the premise of love. And everything else is just icing.

We have done this already, simply by gathering here together, honoring one another. I invite you all to do it MORE! Reach out to others and make new friends. Tell your story on this Posse Blog. Engage in dialogue on the Pink forum. Let me step out of the way a bit- so you Pinkies can take the reins and make this community what you want and need.

Caroline, I'm still blinking back the tears- thank you, you Pink Goddess you- for getting what we're trying to do here and honoring us. And thank you for the gift of your wisdom, your intuition, and your love.

You- and all the rest of you- are such a source of inspiration for me every day.
