Since last June, my daughter has been suffering with Vulvodynia.  It's taken this long to get a diagnosis after several doctors, nurse practitioners, and OB/GYN's.  She is in pain and ibuprofen and tylenol do not help.  She is afraid to go to school because as soon as she gets there, the walking around causes her a great deal of pain. This is an awesome community and I'm asking for any advice or tips so eventually, my daughter can go a day without hurting.  We are both feeling desperate.See More

3 Butterflies-Another Echo Effect

I love butterflies and using images of butterflies (in my designs) almost as much as hippie flowers. I had a favorite bracelet that had a big sparkly butterfly on it and it just broke. I kept the butterfly part. At a rummage sale a week later, I came across #2 butterfly - it's a brooch but I stuck in on my big vision board. Yesterday at another rummage sale came butterfly #3...a whopping… Continue

Modern B*A*G Ladies 1st "Travel Guide" - Me!

Recently, I was given an opportunity to share my story with Kim Lampe's website, Modern B*A*G Ladies. She has come up with this brilliant idea of women sharing their stories and raising money for Enchanted Makeovers by creating a "Traveling Sanctuary." I am her first "Travel Guide." I made a design specific to sexual abuse survivors, called SURVIVE TO THRIVE, it's on a tote,… Continue

Open Heart

Not long ago, I received an email on match.com from Fred reading:

You should go to lunch with me, you'd like it. Peace, Fred

My response: Are you sure you want to stick with this approach? Peace, Trish

Then he sent an email referring to himself in the third person and I asked did he do that often because I don't know if I could handle that. He said I was being judgmental and it was only lunch...and I told him later, I…

Hi Tricia...well I just got home from an evening out with Dean, a person I met over the weekend. Was not sure, but sort of inclined to think he was gay...and he is. Really disappointing to me, but to each his own self be true.

He is cute, and we decided we could go out guy watching and maybe we would both score a date!

Anyway...how can I find out how to post a video link into a Pink Posse discussion if I want to? I tried earlier today in a discussion I wrote but it failed to open and it sucked. anyway, happy thanks giving tomorrow.

Hugz, Debbie.

Good advice Tricia, and my neighbor set me up with a somebody who wanted to meet me...he came over and we may or may not go out, he has my number and says he is going to call me this week. We'll see.
How is Seattle? Has it been fun so far? Hope you all have a wonderful productive experience and post all about it.

Ok, I will let him call me...I almost called him because he kept emailing me today and I got sort of annoyed to keep answering his silly little emails! I could not find his number so I wrote him back and asked him for it again, but when I called he was not home...he was actually bringing me over something I had forgotten at his house. (I had not sounded to happy when he said he was coming over in an email, that is why I tried to all him before he left). I told him I was a mess...but he came over but did not stay, I had two girlfriends over. I actually think he would be better for one of them because he is sort of short for me, and looks so much like Kim, even has Italion and English genes like her!

Question: How do I keep him from wanting to get too serious...because he is like the first guy I actually went out with...something always happened a couple of other times to prevent this. And I really enjoy checking other guys out, and think it is only normal that I would like to have somebody to compare him to...how do I know for sure, if I don't do a little test driving? Does that sound terrible of me? Hope not....some of my girlfriends say I am terrible. What do you think? How can I keep him interested but still have the freedom to explore other men possibilities too?

After carefully screening my potential dates...I finally said yes to one that seemed very nice, and I was not disappointed! He was about having fun, treating me as I imagined...opening doors, holding hands, conversation...and more! It was so nice, I just do not like the idea of my whole day and evening coming to a close. He told me we would be getting together again soon, and now I just wait and see?

We met online...emailed back and forth for almost a week, then met personally at a big park downtown, walked, visited the water falls, had coffe and drinks, went to both of our houses, went for a cocktail, played pool, talked and talked...and spent the whole day together.

I really hope we do it again...but, if not...it was still an enjoyable and delightful date.

Hi Tricia...I went swimming at the "Y" and it was such a relief doing aerobics and exercising and swimming! (((((big smile)))))

Hi Tricia, I will chex it out soon, right now I am busy looking for ways to mend my broken self esteem first. I am kind of lost inside, being tg and all, there are difficult lessons which I need to master soon, or I shall wither away in self-pity and self-loathing for eternity it seems.

Huggs...I am trying to stay pink...and...well, just huggs to ya!

What to Do When You Are Feeling Stuck And Uninspired At Your Job? – Part 1

Earlier this year, I left my cushy paying corporate job and my heart did several flips of joy as I handed in my resignation letter.   It was like the clouds parted, and the sun came out smiling down at me, the weight I felt on my shoulders lifted and everything seemed lighter and brighter. For those of you who currently feels uninspired, indifferent, and tired of going through the motion of work feeling like there is something more to a 9-5 job, I totally get it. I was there. For a good two…See More

Abracadabra – 5 Wisdom Tips I learned from Jaden Sterling to Generate Wealth.

Recently I attended a seminar and Jaden Sterling was one of the speakers. He provided some great insights on how to attract money and create opportunities in your business and life.   Here are the 5 takeaways I learned from Jaden.1. Know what is your opportunity funnel. Your opportunity funnel defines your non-negotiable. It helps you decide what opportunities you are going to say yes to and what you are going to say no to with grace and ease without feeling guilty. It helps you filter the way…See More

Many people have the problem saying not to requests, invitations and opportunities because they don’t want to feel guilty for disappointing others or they don’t want to risk burning any bridges. But if you take on too many commitments you end up being stressed, lose productivity, feeling resentful in knowing your time could have been put to better use in doing something you enjoyed. Here are some mindful tips and considerations to help you decide when to say no and how to say no. Value your…See More
