I just pre-ordered this book and can not wait for it to come out! My 6 year old girl already started asking a ton of questions and I am determined for her to learn early on to love herself and love being a woman w/o as many hang-ups I had growing up.

Yes, there is info about STDs, Debbie- but lots of the questions about STDs didn't get answered because we cut them if we thought they were something you WOULD ask your Gyn. (But the really tough ones- like exactly how you get these diseases from which sex acts- are discussed). At some point, I'll be writing What's Up Down There for Teens. This one is more geared towards adult women, but I'm sure many older teens will appreciate it.

Will this book address some of the latest things concerning SDs and how they are shared in the newest sexually active age group? I want to have the best, most recent info from a source I know I can trust when I share conversation with my family and teens.
that I can read up on to be intelligent about when talking with teens or family?

Hi dear ones! We started this group because our new site goes up VERY SOON and we needed the link. We'll be making it more active when we get around to it. But until then, help us out! This group is where I will choose questions to answer in the What's Up Down There blog, based on my book, where I will answer Q&A about "down there" or other women's health issues you might be too embarrassed to ask your gynecologist. I won't be able to answer you individually, but I sincerely encourage each of you to answer each other. Between us all, we have millenia of experience in what's up down there. So don't wait for me. Ask away! And girl talk amongst yourselves!
