Soooo... I have been talking with one of my coaches lately about how Bikram makes me feel. I have set the intention to go to one class, once a week until I can do more. The classes are kind of far from me, but the emotional and physical benefits are beyond worth it.

I woke up this morning with the beginnings of a yoga practice to honor my new found Pinkness on my mind. Looking forward to rolling my mat out once the kids are off to school and exploring what I know is an inspired practice focusing on the feminine.

i wouldnt call myself a yogini-- BUT, I would like to be. I've done a bit of Yoga here and there but I think Id really like to start doing some every day. I think itd be good for me-- I just started looking up the benefits of it :)
so...here I go! I'll do some when I get home and go from there!

Hi Sarah, by sadhana I just mean that I'm committed to a regular practice.. for 30 days straight I will do yoga, that is my intention, and through intention and practice it is a sadhana. Sankalpa is the word for intention.

Just had to burst in here, and share a lot of good news on the yoga front. First is that I will be teaching my first real yoga class tomorrow, and second is that I will get my certificate in march, and third is that my teacher now formally asked me if I would teach classes at her school. I am so happy with all that :)

Hello, I'm fairly new to the site and just joined this group today, wanted to say hello. I'm just a newbie to Yoga, always thought I was too inflexible to even attempt it, but due to some health issues, I can really only do the gentlest of exercises -- so yoga is my answer to that conundrum. I started a 30 day yoga sadhana on the 15th and I am finding it really relaxing though wow am I sore too! ;)

Very gentle stretching! Considered Hatha Yoga, I guess. I took classes in teaching polarity yoga while I attended a polarity therapy practitioner program and I taught polarity yoga classes several years ago. So, I do some of my favorite poses, mixed in with some yoga from other classes I have taken. I hope being connected with all of you will help me do this daily!
