Very cute link Heidi!  I was even inspired to come up with a few of my own knitting & crochet sayings ! :D

Speaking of knitting....I need to do it more.  I had a dream about making a healing shawl for a friend who consequently lost several members of her family this past year (that's when I had the dream).  I can only remember that it was pink, and large so I grabbed up some (what I felt to be) ugly pink yarn and went to town...just a simple ribbing, but in knit the yarn really looked much better than I gave it credit for...then *roadblock* I ran out!

Must get more, must finish shawl, must bless & send.  And of course share the prettiness with you lovely pinkies!

I watched this video four times and had to keep taking it out. :( I finally got it done, but it doesn't have the full heart shape to it like the video does. It's soooo cute...I want to perfect it!

I'm knitting a sweater for my best friend's new baby with a hat to match and then the same one but bigger for my 19 month old niece, Aylin. I am adding a star on the front of each in a fluffy yarn to make it more interesting. Will post photos when finished.

I thought I'd share the video I found which gives great instructions to crochet a heart. If you look on the right, she also has a video on crocheing a big heart... and a snowflake and a star.... and it's soooo easy to follow.

I can't wait to try it... but how do you do the back at the same time... or do you do two bits and saw them together? Thanks alot

Of course you aren't :)

This pattern looks simple, I am going to try out my theory :)

It looks like it starts out with two or three stitches, two threads, then increases several times on both sides, then the heart is joined and there are decreases in the center.

Hope I make sense :)

Thank you for sharing that Tamlyn, I found a lovely crochet one.... but I had a particular model in mind... and I haven't found the instructions. Here

. I hope I am not being a pain...
