Wanted to make sure all of you noted my post running on OP today about a study done by a well known Professor claiming that ALL OF US are capable of ESP (especially sexual ESP). Unfortunately, before this study has even been published, it's being hacked to death. 

Thought this group might have an interesting perspective on the post.  I'd love to hear your take?  Do you think our society will ever embrace life's mystery.

My spiritual teacher, Kathryn Harwig teaches that both young children and elderly folk are way more in tune to their own spiritual gifts. This is because they are both close to the veil ... kids haven't been here that long, (to be conditioned out of it) and the elderly are closest to returning. That makes alot of sense to me. I remember my daughter had what we called her "imaginery friend." Liz called her, Saki from California ... and she talked about her incessantly. In thinking back on that now I'm sure she was connected with someone on the other side, but because we didn't pursue it after a while she just didn't mention her any more. It is sad that we aren't able to see these gifts for what they are ... wonderful. That is awesome about your son Jennifer!

Remember how we talked about those past life spiritual gifts...has he ever brought up any past life stuff?  Amazing.  I've met another boy who can see fairies in his house. Do you ever think that most children have psychic gifts but society squashes it before the can fully grasp them?  I find it increadably sad to think about that.

Well,i ordered my copy of Sherrie's book after reading about it. After taking the quiz, i concluded that I am a more of physical psychic.. my stomach churns if I witness/feel negativity or get bad news.. my right eye fluttered for the entire day the day before I received my promotion letter. And the worst of all, when I call my MIL, even if I am feeling perfectly ok, my face goes red and my hands start shaking (one of the most toxic person I have encountered in life).

Recently I have started meditating regularly and my situation or sensitivity to my environment has really increased manifold. Now even if I hear about bad things happening to others, my tummy goes for a toss with all the butterflies flying and a trip to restroom!!

I hope this is a passing phase and my stomach recovers from it!!

Margaret,

That us a very interesting dream. The first thing that really jumps out at me is that all of the things you saw in your "video" were symbols of the Goddess or of womanhood - even the way they came in and out of the earth was.

So, i would ask, is there something about the marriage or the divorce that affected (is affecting) how you understand yourself as a woman? Some way the feminine has been repressed or is being strengthened in what's has happened/is now happening? Does the idea of feminine symbols or the Goddess have any relevance or meaning to you?

Just wanted to share my cool dream from a couple of nights ago. I was wearing a ring that my parents had given me when I was either 16 or 18. I haven't worn it in a long time, as the garnet that was set in it had fallen out. In any case, in the dream I was wearing it. I was staring at it and suddenly it transformed into a magical ring. It was playing a type of video, and then audio came out of it and scents and everything. I was saying,"Oh my God, it's a magic ring! Oh my God it's magic!" The vido on the ring was of a tree growing in rapid time, like an oak. Then a cow came out of the earth and disappeared back into the earth. Then a girl, that I took as me, birthed from the earth and then went back into the earth and then it flashed the same girl but as a grown up. I am going through a separation/divorce with three kids right now. Living part of the week elsewhere...lots of transformation and change. Anyway, thought this was an amazing dream. Any comments are welcome.

The question is do you intend to pick up on a ghost?  If you are open they will (all) come.  But you need to be careful because if you open the door too wide you'll be bombarded with all kinds entities and some are the epitome of evil.  So caution is very much needed ... also a prayer of protection armour before you open up so that only those who have good intentions will come through.

It would be interesting to see if anyone has ever done a study, but my guess is if you've got strong intuition, you've got a higher likelihood of being able to pick up on the energy of a ghost. What would you guess Jennifer?
