What Inspirational Quote Most Inspires You?

On a recent (wonderful) blog post Lissa wrote, some of us started sharing the wisdom quotes that have inspired us personally. It was not only fun, but we found echoes of each other's inspiration in the quotes from others.

Post the quotes that inspire you below so we can all share. Here is my absolute favorite, and Lissa and I discovered it has provided guidance to both of us through time. Read her post about it here:

“I would like to beg you to have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign language. Don’t search for answers, which could not be given to you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without even noticing, live your way into the answer.”
–Rainer Maria Rilke (1875-1926)

Great quote!

I love this quote. I used it in my book, and I use it in my journal classes, because the questions are what keep us moving, keep us learning, moving forward. It's hard to be in transition and not have the answers, but they do come. and here's a quote (I have a document full of them)

Let yourself be silently drawn by the stronger pull of what you
really love." - Rumi

thanks Dana

I was watching a tv show the other day, it was about empowering young women.  Towards the end of the show, it showed the panel of discussionist (all female) and one of them said, "Is that not so true, that women can achieve anything they want to now".  I agree with that.  Shirley Hubbard

What a relief. 12-step tells me to live in the solution. I have no solution. Therefore I cannot live, not without intense fear and wondering just how scrambled IS my DNA that I can't live like a normal person in this world? Thanks.

My favorite quote is one that my grandmother told my mother, and one that my mother told me:

Don't Get Mad. Get What You Want.

If something isn't the way you want it to be, however big or small, go out and make the change. You don't have to get mad about it. You can be polite. But go after what you want in life. This quote has made all the difference for me in giving me the courage to speak up in life.

Absolutely true!!

4 Relationship Lessons to Overcome Breakup Blues

My heart has been broken many times. The toughest ones to get over were my first love and the ones who I’ve vested a lot of time and energy in. You know, the ones where your heart ached when it was over and it felt like something was loss or missing in your life because they were part of your every day life and now you no longer see or hear from them anymore. It’s hard to adjust to the new found space or emptiness (depending on how you want to look at it). I used to see it as the latter , and…See More

What to Do When You Are Feeling Stuck And Uninspired At Your Job? – Part 1

Earlier this year, I left my cushy paying corporate job and my heart did several flips of joy as I handed in my resignation letter.   It was like the clouds parted, and the sun came out smiling down at me, the weight I felt on my shoulders lifted and everything seemed lighter and brighter. For those of you who currently feels uninspired, indifferent, and tired of going through the motion of work feeling like there is something more to a 9-5 job, I totally get it. I was there. For a good two…See More

Abracadabra – 5 Wisdom Tips I learned from Jaden Sterling to Generate Wealth.

Recently I attended a seminar and Jaden Sterling was one of the speakers. He provided some great insights on how to attract money and create opportunities in your business and life.   Here are the 5 takeaways I learned from Jaden.1. Know what is your opportunity funnel. Your opportunity funnel defines your non-negotiable. It helps you decide what opportunities you are going to say yes to and what you are going to say no to with grace and ease without feeling guilty. It helps you filter the way…See More
