How many of you have connected with Lissa on her book tour?
I had the amazing pleasure of going to see Lissa when she was in Boston on her book tour.
We were all up close and personal at an intimate gathering that was held at Boston University.The discussion around her book was great! I love the way her voice comes through in her writing, and she answers questions in such a fun down to earth way. It really is like your talking to your BFF who just happens to be a Gyno.
I loved that there were so many college women there. It was fun to see them open up and share their experiences. There was some very interesting discussion around female genital mutilation and the question of weather or not circumcision was the same thing for men. It really made me think.
It was awesome to meet Lissa in person after we had been sharing tweets for so long. She is supper shiny and sparkly!
I wish I had the pictures that were taken......unfortunately my camera was not working but the staff photographer took some that I am trying to get my hands on.
I would love to hear how it was for you if you went.

I'm really bummed that she's not coming anywhere near Raleigh, NC! I totally loved, devoured, slurped the book and am sure she'd be wonderful in person.
